Thomas Paine’s Common Sense was important to the independence movement of the British colonies in North America because it
Y_Kistochka [10]
In January 1776, Thomas Paine published Common Sense. This small pamphlet had a big effect on colonists and moved many Americans to support independence from Great Britain. Colonists were persuaded by the
logic of Paine's arguments, which included that the Atlantic Ocean was too wide to allow Britain to rule America as well as an American government could, that it was foolish to think an island could rule a continent, and that the idea of Britain being America's "mother country" made Britain's actions all the worse because no mother would treat her children so badly.

What group launched anti-Diem protests in South Vietnam during the summer of 1963 that included street demonstrations and hunger
Ivenika [448]
The answer to that question is Buddhist monks. This began in 1963 when protesters where shot for demonstrating against the Buddhist’s Flag ban. This led to numerous protests by Buddhist monks directed against President Ngo Dinh Diem. Diem was a Catholic whose policies were partial to the Catholic minority. Majority of the Vietnamese population was Buddhist and many were oppressed by his policies. As a result many monks held protests against his administration’s policies. One such demonstration led monks to set themselves on fire. Later on a coup overthrew Diem which led to his arrest and assassination on November 12, 1963.

The North Africans wanted gold, which came from the forest region south of Ghana. The people in the forests wanted salt, which came from the Sahara.

2. Ghana and Mali, At first Taghaza had been controlled by the Saharan nomads, but in the early 14th century the rulers of Mali managed to maintain some control over the routes leading these mines from the south.

3. Niger river

Muslim Traders, Following the conquest of North Africa by Muslim Arabs in the 7th century CE, Islam spread throughout West Africa via merchants, traders, scholars, and missionaries, that is largely through peaceful means whereby African rulers either tolerated the religion or converted to it themselves.

What were some benefits Aericans discovered out west?

(Written Short answer)
kykrilka [37]

Answer: In the West, Americans found a lot of land to expand, new species of plants and animals, and access to the Pacific Ocean. Because of their access to the largest body of water on the planet, international trade was possible (but wouldn't begin for another 75 or so years, assuming that this is in the mid-1800s).
