On each side of the neck there are the carotid artery and the jugular vein. the carotid artery divides in the head in 2 parts: internal and external carotid.
If there are poisonous or toxic materials near the food or in the vicinity of food then the food must be thrown away or disposed of and the facility must be cleaned and sanitized and the poison or toxic materials are to be disposed of and replaced.
It could be that your house is too cold, or there is something in the air that makes you sick.
