Answer:  A) moves two places to the right

Example:

2.567 * 10^2 = 2.567 * 100 = 256.7

The positive exponent over the 10 tells us how many places to move to the right. If the exponent was negative, then we'd move to the left. This only works when the base is 10.

The easiest way to do it is to divide 88 from 1,144, written as 1,144<span>÷88.
That's 13. So, then you would multiply 13 by 100. To get the total amount of onions. That'd be 1,300.</span>
