Vouchers undermine religious liberty. They cause the diversion of public money to unaccountable private schools and violates many state constitutional provisions. People never supported vouchers because it never improved the student's academic performance. vouchers never improve opportunities for children from low- income families. Vouchers do not save taxpayers money. It leads to the questionable quality of private schools.  Vouchers never increased educational choices. Vouchers distract people from the real issue of reform. That's why vouchers are always controversial.
