\longrightarrow{\green{\frac{5}{6}}}

\large\mathfrak{{\pmb{\underline{\red{Step-by-step\:explanation}}{\red{:}}}}}

\frac{1}{2}  +  \frac{1}{3}

Since the denominators are unequal, we find the L.C.M (lowest common multiple) for both denominators.

The L. C. M for 2 and 3 is 6.

Now, multiply the L.C.M. with both numerator & denominator.

= \frac{1 \times 3}{2 \times 3}  +  \frac{1 \times 2}{3 \times 2}

=  \frac{3}{6}  +  \frac{2}{6}

Now that the denominators are equal, we can add them.

=  \frac{3 + 2}{6}  \\  \\  =  \frac{5}{6}

\large\mathfrak{{\pmb{\underline{\orange{Mystique35 }}{\orange{♡}}}}}
