Culture is undeniably relevant in the development of <em>characteristics</em> and <em>adaptations</em> that guide the expression of personality in thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.
According to McCrae et. al., the traits and structure of personality is expressed in steady arrangement of cognition, feelings and action. Anthropological tradition and cross-cultural psychology plays a great role in establishing personality characteristics and adaptations of an individual. In this sense, personality cannot be disengaged with culture.
