Read the passage. Isaac had been training for this race for months. His coach had stayed late after practice several times to gi

ve him tips on endurance. His family was planning on coming to watch from the stands. Isaac definitely had a lot of support going into this race, and he hoped that he could win—not only for himself, but also for his family and his coach. Based on the supporting details, what can you conclude about Isaac? Isaac is hopeful that he will win the race. Isaac is upset that he did not win the last race. Isaac expects to lose the race. I can say that Issac has a very strong will to win the race to not only make his family proud but also his coach. I also feel that he is very determined to win - "had been training for this race for months.'"

PLEASE HELP!!(COMMAS)
DedPeter [7]

Answer:

B

Explanation:

Usually, commas ensure that there is a slight pause in the sentence.

If u run into another question like this, try saying it to urself aloud, and pause where the comma is. Then, u'll know whichever one sounded correct.

Hope this helped ;)
