If the ribosomes were not working properly then your cell would not be producing proteins. If your cell did not produce proteins

enzymes would not be available to speed up reactions throughout your body, and they would also not be available to make the many organelles made with proteins such as microtubules which would cause many other problems within the cell.?

We have been given a graph of function g(x) which is a transformation of the function f(x)=3^x

Now we have to find the equation of g(x)

Usually transformation involves shifting or stretching so we can use the graph to identify the transformation.

First you should check the graph of f(x)=3^x

You will notice that it is always above x-axis (equation is x=0). Because x-axis acts as horizontal asymptote.

Now the given graph has asymptote at x=-2

which is just 2 unit down from the original asymptote x=0

so that means we need shift f(x), 2 unit down hence we get:

y=3^x

but that will disturb the y-intercept (0,1)

if we multiply 3^x by 3 again then the y-intercept will remain (0,1)

Hence final equation for g(x) will be:

g(x)=3(3^x)-2

Select the correct answer.
Digiron [165]

Answer:

4/3

Step-by-step explanation:

Given function = p(x) = (6x-4)/x

First we will calculate p(1) and p(3)

p(1) = (6(1) - 4)/1 = 6-4 = 2

p(3) = (6(3) - 4)/3 = (18-4)/3 = 14/3

Rate of change on interval [1,3] = [p(3) - p(1)]/(3-1)

=> (14/3 -2)/(2)

=> (14-6)/(3*2)

=> 8/6

=> 4/3

So average rate of change is 4/3

Find an expression to represent the area of the triangle below.
fredd [130]

Answer:

A = \dfrac{8x}{3x + 1}

Step-by-step explanation:

A = \dfrac{bh}{2}

A = \dfrac{16x^2}{9x^2 - 1} \times \dfrac{6x^2 - 5x + 1}{2x^2 - x} \times \dfrac{1}{2}

A = \dfrac{(16x^2)(6x^2 - 5x + 1)}{2(9x^2 - 1)(2x^2 - x)}

A = \dfrac{(16x^2)(2x - 1)(3x - 1)}{2(3x - 1)(3x + 1)(x)(2x - 1)}

A = \dfrac{8x}{3x + 1}
