If life gives you something, you deserve what you have and don’t need anything more. I explain the quote this way because he is basically saying that he doesn’t want to be anything better than himself, and he doesn’t need anything more in life than what he already has. I do not agree with his outlook on life because some good people are living in poverty, and they don’t deserve to live that way of life.
