Answer:

\left[\begin{array}{ccc}-5&6\\1&-4\end{array}\right]

Step-by-step explanation:

To find the product of two matrices we need to multiply the elements of each row of the first matrix by the elements of each column in the second matrix. Then we should add the products. Then:

\left[\begin{array}{ccc}-3&4\\2&-5\end{array}\right] × \left[\begin{array}{ccc}3&-2\\1&0\end{array}\right] = \left[\begin{array}{ccc}-9+4&6+0\\6-5&-4+0\end{array}\right] = \left[\begin{array}{ccc}-5&6\\1&-4\end{array}\right]

The solution is \left[\begin{array}{ccc}-5&6\\1&-4\end{array}\right]

A standard deck of cards contains 52 cards. One card is selected from the deck. (a) Compute the probability of randomly selecti
Masja [62]

Answer:

a) 1/2 = 50%

b) 3/4 = 75%

c)  1 / 52 or 1,9%

Step-by-step explanation:

In a standard deck of cards, there are 52 cards in total:

13 are hearts, 13 are diamonds, 13 are clubs and 13 are spades.

(a) Compute the probability of randomly selecting a club or spade

How many cards are a club or a spade?

C = 13 clubs + 13 spades = 26 cards

Out of the 52 total, that means that:

P (club or spade) = 26/52 = 1/2 = 50%

(b) Compute the probability of randomly selecting a club or spade or heart.

How many cards are a club or a spade?

C = 13 clubs + 13 spades  + 13 hearts = 39 cards

Out of the 52 total, that means that:

P (club or spade or heart) = 39/52 = 3/4 = 75%

(c) Compute the probability of randomly selecting a two or diamond.

There's only ONE two of diamond in  regular deck of cards, so...

P(2 of diamond) = 1 / 52 or 1,9%

Joe’s hat shack has fixed cost of $1,000 per week. She buys hats that are $1,500 for 300 hard and she sells the hats for $12.50
katrin [286]
1000+1500=2500 is how much she owes right now
If each hat is sold for 12.50, all you have to do is 2500/12.50=200
She needs to sell 20 hats to break even.

Find the slope...........
vekshin1
First thing to do is find out the coordinates of two points on the graph (I will use the ones that have been marked by the red dots):

Point A: (3, -1)
Point B: (1, 2)

Then we will use the slope formula to work out the slope:

y₂ - y₁ / x₂ - x₁

Substitute in our points:

2 - (-1) / 1 - 3

Then we work out the expression (remember a negative and a negative make a positive!):

3 / -2

Then we check if we can simplify this fraction, which in this case we cannot.

Therefore the slope of that line would be:

3 / -2

(remember to write it as a fraction!)
