Z=110 degrees
A straight line is equal to 180 degrees. You determine the bottom to angles of the triangles first by subtracting the angle degrees by 180.

180-120=60
180-130=50

So now you have the bottom two angles of the triangle. All triangles add up to 180. So just add 50 and 60 together then subtract the answer from 180 to get the missing angle.

50+60=110
180-110=70

Now to find angle Z all you have to do is subtract 70 from 180.

180-70=110

Hope this helped!

Directions- Find the indicated term of each arithmetic sequence.
____ [38]

Answer:

1. 98.8 2. 194 3. 49 2/3

Step-by-step explanation:

I found the pattern of each of them

Here is the math I did for the 1st one: 1.3(1st number)+2.5*39(pattern times one less than the term number you want)=98.8

This is actually the first time I have done this, so I this should help both of us!!! Me with learning more math, and you with doing your own math.

Determine the multiplicity of the roots of the function k(x) = x(x + 2)3(x + 4)2(x − 5)4. 0, -2, -4, 5
Sergeu [11.5K]

Answer:

The polynomial function k(x)=x(x+2)^3(x+4)^2(x-5)^4

To determine the multiplicity of 0, -2, -4, 5.

The multiplicity of a root is the number of times the root appears.

First find the root of the equation, set the function equals to zero.

x(x+2)^3(x+4)^2(x-5)^4=0

therefore, the root of this function are, x=0,-2, -4, 5

To find the multiplicity of the roots:

A factor of x would have a root at x=0 with multiplicity of 1

similarly,  x=-2 with multiplicity of 3

x=-4 with multiplicity of 2

x=5 with multiplicity of 4.
