Adaption helps the snake have more advantages for survival.

Explanation:

Snakes have no legs, arms, or ears which helps the snake move freely without making any sound that would frighten the prey. Snakes can also slither through small holes which makes it easier to catch prey. As for reproduction, the more the snake adapts using it's traits the offspring will also inherit those traits.
