So,  all percents can be expressed as *percent*/100
So for this,  it would be 150/100
Then we want to simplify it down and all that jazz.  Find the biggest number that BOTH the numerator AND denominator can be divided by.
In this case,  50.
150/50=3
100/50=2
So now you have 3/2
You might also want a mixed number,  or, a whole number with the leftover fraction after it.
In this case,  see how many times can 2 go into 3 FULLY.
The answer would be 1.  1 is our WHOLE NUMBER.
Then take whatever is left over from 3 and that is our numerator.  Do this,  since 2 can go into 3 ONE time FULLY,  I can say 3-(2*1) is our remainder.
That gives you one as the numerator.  2 is still the denominator.
So a mixed number of 3/2 is 1 1/2
So here is 150% as a fraction:  150/100,  3/2 or 1 1/2.
I hope I helped!!! -Kibeye/Ethan

To convert a percentage into a fraction, all you need to do is put the number that is the percentage over 100.

150% = \frac{150}{100}

Since both numerator and denominator are reducible, we will do so. We can start by dividing by ten, since both sides of the fraction end with 0.

\frac{150 / 10}{100 / 10} = \frac{15}{10}

We can further see that both numerator and denominator are divisible by 5, so we will do that too.

\frac{15 / 5}{10 / 5} = \frac{3}{2}

Now, we have a fully reduced fraction, but it is improper, so we will make it a mixed number. We can do this by simply dividing the numerator by the denominator and putting the result as the whole number, then leaving the remainder as the numerator.

3 / 2 = 1 R 1

\frac{3}{2} = 1 \frac{1}{2}

Which is our final answer.
150% written as a fraction is 1 \frac{1}{2}.
Hope that helped! =)

Convert y + 3 = -3(x + 5) to standard form.
emmasim [6.3K]
Hi there!

y  + 3 =  - 3(x + 5)
First we need to work out the parenthesis, which can for instance be done using rainbow technique.

y + 3 =  - 3x  -  15
Now subtract 3 from both sides.

y =  - 3x  - 18
And finally add 3x to both sides.

3x + y =  - 18
The 4th answer choice is correct.

MrRissso [65]
The answer is
2(pi)/3
Because 4(pi)-/5 minus 2(pi)-/5 is 2(pi)-/5
After that you cancel -/5 from the numerator and denominator to get 2(pi)/3
