N-2=10n+42
Add 2 to both sides
n=10n+44
Subtract 10n from both sides
-9n=44
Divide both sides by -9
n=(-44/9)

To solve this equation we have to find the value of n:

n-2=10n+42

We have to join the terms with n in one side of the equation, and the other terms by the other side:

n-10n=42+2

Then:

-9n=4

-9 is multiplying n and it goes to the other side dividing. Then we have the final result:

n=-\frac{44}{9}
