Surface area = Area of rectangle + Areas of triangles.

Area of rectangle = 9cm * 15cm = 135cm2.

Areas of triangles = 6cm * 3cm = 18cm2.

Surface area = 135 + 18 = 153cm2

K(x) = 5x-6
(k+k)(x) = k(x) + k(x) = 5x-6 +5x-6
just plug in x = 4,

What is the volume of this solid?<br><br> A. 1104<br> B. 132<br> C. 96<br> D. 276
statuscvo [17]

For this case we have that the volume of the figure is composed of the volume of a prism and the volume of a pyramid:

The volume of the prism is given by:

V = A_ {b} * h

Where:

A_ {b}: It is the area of the base

h: It's the height

Substituting:V = 6 * 6 * 6\\V = 216 \ units ^ 3

The volume of the pyramid is given by:

V = \frac {1} {3} * L ^ 2 * h

Where:

L ^ 2:It is the area of the base

h: It's the height

Substituting:

V = \frac {1} {3} * 6 ^ 2 * 5\\V = \frac {1} {3} * 36 * 5\\V = 60units ^ 3

We add and we have:

V = 276 \ units ^ 3

What is the area of the trapezoid?
DanielleElmas [232]

Answer:

C) 100 m^2

Step-by-step explanation:

Area of a trapezoid= h*[(b1+b2)/2]

h=10

b1=8

b2=12

Therefore:

A=10*[(8+12)/2]

A=10*(20/2)

A=10*10

A=100

So the area of the trapezoid is 100 m^2
