Answer:

2. No graduation marks appear above the 0 mL mark.

Explanation:

A buret is a long graduated tube often used to administrate measured volumes of liquid, it has an opened extreme with a closed extreme in which the pass of the liquid can be determined, they often start at 0 ml and go down depending on the graduation. That´s why there is no graduation marks above the 0.

I believe the answer is 2. No graduation marks appear above the 0 mL.
A buret is a piece of volumetric glassware used to deliver variable liquid amounts typically for titrations. It is a long glass cylinder open at one end and fitted at the opposite end with a stopcock valve. The stopcock valve controls the flow of liquid from the cylinder through the buret tip. The numbering of the markings begins at the top of the buret. Therefore, the volume delivered can be determined from the difference between initial and final liquid levels.

Can someone plz help me on this. I need it really bad
kifflom [539]

Answer:

-  40.66

-  9.91

Explanation:

For the first question:

Our theoretical compound is MR₂

1 mol of MR₂ contains 1 mol of M and 2 moles of R

Let's find out the molar mass:

9.45 g/mol + 18.12 g/mol . 2 = 45.69 g/mol

We can solve this, by an easy rule of three:

1 mol of MR₂ weighs 45.69 grams

Then, 0.89 moles may weigh 40.66 g

For the second question:

Our theoretical compound is D₂G

Let's determine the molar mass:

11.45 g/mol . 2 + 44.57 g/mol = 67.47 g/mol

1 mol of anything contains 6.02×10²³ molecules. By this definition we can say that 6.02×10²³ molecules weigh 67.47 grams. Let's solve by the rule of three:

6.02×10²³ molecules weigh 67.47 g

8.84×10²² molecules may weigh (8.84×10²² . 67.47 ) / 6.02×10²³ = 9.91 g

What is the approximate temperature of 1.4 moles of a gas with a pressure of 3.25 atmospheres in a 4.738-liter container
attashe74 [19]

Answer:

134K

Explanation:

Using the ideal gas law equation;

PV = nRT

Where;

P = pressure (atm)

V = volume (Litres)

n = number of moles (mol)

R = gas constant (0.0821 Latm/Kmol)

T = temperature (K)

Based on the information provided, n = 1.4moles, P = 3.25atm, V = 4.738L, T = ?

3.25 × 4.738 = 1.4 × 0.0821 × T

15.3985 = 0.11494T

T = 15.3985/0.11494

T = 133.969

Approximately;

T = 134K
