Although it is true that the use of recreational drugs, especially tobacco, alcohol or cannabis, is relatively common among adolescents, it is also true that the percentages in which this situation occurs do not exceed 20% of the total number of adolescents of the country. In other words, only 1 in 5 children under 18 years of age regularly use any of these three substances, while 80% stay completely away from their use. In this way, it is a concept that undergoes a generalization that is not true, but on the contrary a fallacious attribution to a whole group of people.
