Answer:

(B) $15

Step-by-step explanation:

Big Video:  y = 2.49x + 9.99

Main Street:  y = 1.79x + 20.49

easiest way to solve would be to graph and find the point of intersection or set 2.49x + 9.99 and 1.79x + 20.49 equal to each other

2.49x + 9.99 = 1.79x + 20.49

subtract 1.79x from each side to get:

.70x + 9.99 = 20.49

subtract 9.99 from each side to get:

.70x = 10.50

divide each side by .70

x = 15

Please answer what the answer for ? Is.
vitfil [10]

Answer:

5/8

Step-by-step explanation:

A.   2/3 × 4/5 × m = 1/3               B.      4/5 × 2/3 × m = 1/3

      8/15 × m = 1/3                                 8/ 15 × m  = 1/3

                 m = 1/3 ÷ 8/15                                 m = 1/3 ÷ 8/15

                  m = 1/3 ×15/8                                 m = 1/3  × 15/8

                  m = 5/8                                          m = 5/8

C.  2/3 × 4/5 = 1/3 ÷ m

            8/15 =  1/3 ×  1/m

            8/15 = 1/3m                   cross multiply

           (3m) × (8) = 15

                24m = 15

                     m = 15/24

                     m=  5/8

Assume that a procedure yields a binomial distribution with a trial repeated n times. Use the binomial probability formula to fi
Keith_Richards [23]

Answer:

P(X = 12) = 0.0064.

Step-by-step explanation:

Binomial probability distribution

The binomial probability is the probability of exactly x successes on n repeated trials, and X can only have two outcomes.

P(X = x) = C_{n,x}.p^{x}.(1-p)^{n-x}

In which C_{n,x} is the number of different combinations of x objects from a set of n elements, given by the following formula.

C_{n,x} = \frac{n!}{x!(n-x)!}

And p is the probability of X happening.

In this problem we have that:

n = 30, p = 0.2

We want P(X = 12). So

P(X = x) = C_{n,x}.p^{x}.(1-p)^{n-x}

P(X = 12) = C_{30,12}.(0.2)^{12}.(0.8)^{18} = 0.0064

P(X = 12) = 0.0064.

Solve the inequality. |2x + 10| > 26
neonofarm [45]

Answer:

x > 8

x < -16

Step-by-step explanation:

2x + 10 > 26

2x + 10 - 10 > 26 - 10

2x > 16

2x/2 > 16/2

x > 8

2x + 10 < -26

2x + 10 - 10 < - 26 - 10

2x < -36

2x/2 < -36/2

x < -16
