A large area of tide water
By 1860 almost half of the American people lived west of the Appalachian Mountains. In the 19th-century movement of settlers into the American West, was initiated with the Louisiana Purchase and Lewis and Clark´s expedition. I was also triggered by the California Gold Rush, the Oregon Trail and "manifest destiny." Manifest destiny was the believe that Americans were meant to expand across all of North America.
<span>In the winter of 1814-1815 New England Federalists gathered in Hartford, CT to hold the Hartford Convention. This was a meeting for those who opposed Madison's War, better known as the War of 1812, and wanted to enact change in Washington for the many wrongs and complaints they had. Most of these came out of fears of being overpowered by southern and western states. This was a prime example of growing sectionalism as the end of the Federalist Party neared.</span>
The chopper made transportation of military personnel in the war hot areas easier as it could land in any place.
The Huey helicopter also rendered trench battles obsolete. A symbol of the USA military, the chopper made rescue missions possible in the battle line.It also helped to harness a more tactical air combat.
