It depends on the type of animal they are caring for and how many. lizards and reptiles need more heat and won’t be healthy unless they receive that heat. cats and dogs shed fur and grow a winter coat so they were made for the fluctuation of the weather

Yes it could because some animals need the heat, so if they have those types of animals like for example lizard, hedgehog ( I know cuz I have one ) or maybe a tarantula then yes hope this helped!
