What is divine right?
Rama09 [41]
Absolute monarchs were rulers with complete authority over the government and lives of the people he or she governs. During the Age of Absolutism, powerful new dynasties emerged such as the Hapsburgs in Spain and the Bourbons in France. Furthermore, both these families highly believed in the idea of divine right where their authority to rule came directly from God.

So, divine right is the idea where a monarch's ruling power or authority comes from God.

Why did tensions between the us and the soviet union become so great after world warll?
ASHA 777 [7]
I'm not positive but I think it was because of nuclear power where each country kept on acquiring more nuclear powers. Each country was trying to out power the other and this caused tensions to be higher since there was a risk of war.

Did john marshall go beyond the constitution when he applied judicial review in marbury
BaLLatris [955]
Numerous originalists would reply "yes," on the grounds that legal audit isn't listed as an energy of the Judicial Branch in the Constitution.

Then again, the legal audit was at that point a setup training when the Constitution was composed, and the Framers, a significant number of whom were attorneys with information of court method, didn't expressly disallow it. Article III makes no say of how the Judicial Branch should practice statute. The absence of direction has a tendency to infer the Framers deliberately permitted adaptability and a level of independence in deciding the courts' operation. In the event that they had no aim for the Judicial Branch to go about as a mind the energy of the other two branches, they could have set more unequivocal rules for the legal to take after.
