What are the most convincing arguments in favor of legalizing some controlled substances?
fgiga [73]

The legalization of some controlled subtances has always been a contreversial issue. Nevertheless, despite of its controversy, it has several arguments that can be expressed in favor of it. First of all, in some cases related to depression and anxiety, controlled substances can be a way in which people can obtain willingness to live, and also, it can help to improve the mood and self-esteem they have. Moreover, when some factors do not allow people to easily get reasons to stay alive, these type of substances can be helpful to increase people's happiness, to avoid bad thinkings and to remove some negative feelings such as; fear, pity and even regret. Therefore, their quality of living can also get higher, if they try some substances, under control.

19. England experienced all of the following hardships in the late 1500's prompting
anastassius [24]

In the 1500s, England had not yet began e. the widespread importation of African slaves into the British Isle.

The late 16th century and 17th centuries saw much change in England as a result of many factors including:

  • The Protestant Reformation which saw religious groups such as Catholics and Protestants come into conflict with each other
  • An increase in population that reduced public welfare
  • The introduction of enclosures which limited the movements of farmers and created the need for more land and,
  • International rivalry with Spain for the control of the seas.

At that point however, England had not yet become very active in the slave trade and so did not see a lot of enslaved Africans in the British Isles.

We can conclusively state that the British did not see many Africans who were enslaved coming into Britain in the late 1500s.
