Answer:

I remember that my relationship with my family and especially my brothers have always been so difficult that I got to think that we could never hold a relationship after I could become independent and just leave them behind. I love all of them, including both of my brothers, despite their constant teasing. Family issues, mostly related to financial problems, used to frequently get in the way of us having a good relationship. We used to fight a lot. To be honest, we still do.

The kid that used to bully me in kindergarten had three older brothers and came from a very violent family. I hated him, but at the same time, I often found myself feeling sorry for him. All of his brothers would taunt him, and it seemed as he was hiding his anger by bullying his classmates, including me.

Explanation:

Nevertheless, whenever he needed his brothers' help, they were always there for him. Either to help him with his homework, or punch a boy he couldn´t fight by himself, he always had his brothers' support.

I imagine it may be difficult for only children to understand the kind of brotherly relationship that includes both devoted love and the most ruthless hatred. But my personal experience allows me to better understand the relationship between brothers.

My own experience has made me understand that my bully and I share the same kind of relationship with our siblings. We are more similar than I would like to admit. We probably shared the desire to run away. Or to find a way to build a better relationship with our families.

Maybe, had we had the chance to have an honest talk, we could even have been friends. Maybe we both lost an opportunity there.

Still, thinking about this experience gives me a better understanding of human nature and social relationships.
