What happens to a cell if it is interrupted during mitosis

Biology

<span>Mitosis is a process in the cell cycle or cell division where chromosomes in a cell nucleus separate to form two identical sets of chromosomes which would end up with its own nucleus. If the process is interrupted cell abnormality will occur, which will manifest in an organism’s overall traits and behavior (e.g. physical, mental, emotional, adaptation). If cells during mitosis are interrupted overall cell processes will be affected which would then result to chemical imbalances within the organelles. <span>

Leukotriene receptor antagonists are administered orally. false true
Afina-wow [57]
The above statement is true.
Leukotrines receptor antagonists are drugs that are administered for the treatment of asthma. DNA is isolated from a clinical sample. The absorbance at 260nm is 0.489, and the absorbance at 280nm is 0.257. Is this sample o
MArishka [77]

Answer:

Yes

Explanation:

A high quality DNA sample will have a 260/280 ratio of around 1.8. This value means that the DNA is sufficiently pure and free from other contaminants that could affect downstream experiments and analysis.

The ratio for this sample is 0.489/0.257 = 1.9

This is close to 1.8, and therefore the sample is of sufficient quality ot use downstream.

Mrs. W. is 68 years old and lives alone. She moves very slowly and does not respond verbally to what others say. She sometimes m
nikklg [1K]

The non-cognitive disturbances that Mrs. W. could have related to some dementia are psychosis, personality change, lack of rhythm, deficit in emotional responses, mental confusion.

It is important that the patient in these conditions is continuously assisted, to avoid situations that put her safety at risk.

An elderly woman like Mrs. W, who already has significant evolution of non-cognitive disorders, must have an effective medical apparatus and a tutor willing to help with care and daily activities.

Ideally, caregivers should develop optimal communication skills for patients with these disorders, such as a calm and gentle tone, provide the individual with a peaceful environment without too much noise or other disturbances, as well as being considerate and not neglecting the individual's needs.

Mitosis, itself, occurs in how many stages (including interphase)?
lubasha [3.4K]

Answer: Five

Explanation:

Mitosis is one of the two types of cell division alongside meiosis that occurs in living cells (although mitosis occur in only somatic or body cells).

Mitosis occurs in five stages, which are:

- Interphase

- Prophase

- Metaphase

- Anaphase

- Telophase

At the end of the five stages, a parent cell with diploid number give rise to two daughter cells with diploid number as well.
