Mitosis is a process in the cell cycle or cell division where chromosomes in a cell nucleus separate to form two identical sets of chromosomes which would end up with its own nucleus. If the process is interrupted cell abnormality will occur, which will manifest in an organism’s overall traits and behavior (e.g. physical, mental, emotional, adaptation). If cells during mitosis are interrupted overall cell processes will be affected which would then result to chemical imbalances within the organelles.

Evolutionary analysis of organisms

Explanation:

 • Some organisms, which were characterized together determined to genetically very different .
 • Using the analysis of RNA developed by Carl Woese, scientists are now able to classify the human evolution
 • living things based on genetic information instead of expressed characteristics.
 • Genetic information is more specific and can give clues as to the evolutionary ancestry of organisms.
 • That is the reason adding of various domains in previous system of classification is allowed for a comparison of species genetic code

10 facts about mutations
Salsk061 [2.6K]

Answer:

Explanation:

4 types of mutation:

Germline mutations occur in gametes. Somatic mutations occur in other body cells.

Chromosomal alterations are mutations that change chromosome structure.

Point mutations change a single nucleotide.

Frameshift mutations are additions or deletions of nucleotides that cause a shift in the reading frame.

3 more:

Over a lifetime our DNA can undergo changes or 'mutations?' in the sequence of bases?, A, C, G and T.

This results in changes in the proteins that are made.

Mutations can occur during DNA replication if errors are made and not corrected in time.
