I would say yes and no at the same time whatever way you are looking at it . Cause in a article it says men’s viewer ship in 2018 soccer is 3.5 billion views on television compared to the woman’s which was 1.1 billion views . So the more views the woman’s and men’s soccer gets the more they get paid . In which in a way that’s sets the woman’s pay way lower compared to the men’s.

Answer:

400 N

Explanation:

Change of Kinetic Energy to Friction Wok

∆KE = W

½ x m x (v(5)² - v(3)²) = f x d

½ x 500 x (5² - 3²) = f x 10

250 x (25 - 9) = f x 10

25 x 16 = f

f = 400 N

A quantity of a gas has an absolute pressure of 400 kPa and an absolute temperature of 110 degrees kelvin. When the temperature
KiRa [710]

Answer:

A) 854.46 kPa

Explanation:

P₁ = initial pressure of the gas = 400 kPa

P₂ = final pressure of the gas = ?

T₁ = initial temperature of the gas = 110 K

T₂ = final temperature of the gas = 235 K

Using the equation

\frac{P_{1}}{T_{1}}=\frac{P_{2}}{T_{2}}

Inserting the values

\frac{400}{110}=\frac{P_{2}}{235}

P₂ = 854.46 kPa

A plane wall with constant properties is initially at a uniform temperature To. Suddenly, the surface at x = L is exposed to a c
Rzqust [24]

Answer:

The distribution is as depicted in the attached figure.

Explanation:

From the given data

  • The plane wall is initially with constant properties is initially at a uniform temperature, To.
  • Suddenly the surface x=L is exposed to convection process such that T∞>To.
  • The other surface x=0 is maintained at To
  • Uniform volumetric heating q' such that the steady state temperature exceeds T∞.

Assumptions which are valid are

  1. There is only conduction in 1-D.
  2. The system bears constant properties.
  3. The volumetric heat generation is uniform

From the given data, the condition are as follows

<u>Initial Condition</u>

At t≤0

T(x,0)=T_o

This indicates that initially the temperature distribution was independent of x and is indicated as a straight line.

<u>Boundary Conditions</u>

<u>At x=0</u>

<u />T(0,t)=T_o<u />

This indicates that the temperature on the x=0 plane will be equal to To which will rise further due to the volumetric heat generation.

<u>At x=L</u>

<u />-k\frac{\partial T}{\partial x}]_{x=L}=h[T(L,t)-T_{\infty}]<u />

This indicates that at the time t, the rate of conduction and the rate of convection will be equal at x=L.

The temperature distribution along with the schematics are given in the attached figure.

Further the heat flux is inferred from the temperature distribution using the Fourier law and is also as in the attached figure.

It is important to note that as T(x,∞)>T∞ and T∞>To thus the heat on both the boundaries will flow away from the wall.

What is escape velocity?
olga_2 [115]
<span>It is the lowest velocity which a body must have in order to escape the gravitational attraction of a particular planet or other object.

Every planet has their own corresponding escape velocities. Example - Earth has escape velocity of 11.2 Km/s. It means, if you want to leave the Earth's gravitational field then it's the lowest speed which you need to acquire otherwise you wouldn't do that!

Hope this helps!</span>
