Answer:

The answer is 15 units hope that helps

Step-by-step explanation:

Apply pythagorean formulae here

Take the 17 as hypotenuse... And 8 as the base....

So the pythagorean formulae is

( hypotenuse) Square = (height) Square + (base) Square......

Hence put the values and the height comes as 15 units

BTW are u Indian?...

Answer:

Since the base(The ground) is perpendicular to the wall it forms a right angle and since the ladder is placed over the window it orms a triangle/Right angle triangle

By using the right hypotenuse side theoram-

a^2 + b^2 = c^2

In this condition the hypotenuse (17) and the base (8) is given

8^2 + b^2 =17^2

64 + b^2 = 289

b^2 =289 - 64

b^2=225

b=√225

b=15

Thus the height from the ground to the window is 15

Hope it helps

Please help me in this question.Tell me if it is good. And if it is not good then do it for me please.
Orlov [11]

Answer:

Y = 170, Z = 64.

Step-by-step explanation:

Since y is the external angle to x, which you got right, it is in fact, 180-10, = 170 degrees. And since z is the external to our unknown angle, that means it is equal to the sum of the other two angles in the triangle. That means z is 54 + 10, which is 64.

Find common factor, in this case the common factor is 10x
So the answer would be 10x(x^6 - y^10)

Terry drove 310 miles in 5 hours at a constant speed. How long would it take him to drive 403 miles at the same speed?
NeX [460]
Well, first, find-out how fast he was going the first time, by dividing 310 by 5. This gives you 62 mph. Now, divide 403 miles by 62 miles per hour in order to find-out how long it would take him to drive 403 miles, if he is constantly doing 62 mph. Your final answer is six-and-a-half hours.
