Find some lyrics to a 1970’s song that you like and think represent this decade. Post the lyrics and explain how they represent
Sloan [31]

Answer:

Heart of glass - Blondie

Explanation:

meaning of song: Heart of Glass” Lyrics Meaning and Song Review

In the same interview with The Guardian, Debbie Harry talked about the meaning behind the song and the lyric change;

“The lyrics weren’t about anyone,” she continued. “They were just a plaintive moan about lost love. At first, the song kept saying, ‘Once I had a love, it was a gas. Soon turned out, it was a pain in the a*s.’ We couldn’t keep saying that, so we came up with, ‘Soon turned out, had a heart of glass.’”

if you judge the best decade for music by total winners of the daily poll, the champion is the 1980s. Over the past 50 polls, the '80s entry won or tied for first place 21 times. The '70s song won or tied for first place 15 times. The '60s and '90s split the rest of the pie almost evenly. hiphop, pop, y2k style, and unique hairstyles/makeup represented so many decades; 1970s-2005!!

How can words change how a person feels about an everyday object or experience? Give an example
Luda [366]

Words can change how a person feels about an everyday object or experience by the adjectives describing it. For example, if you were looking at your toothbrush and someone described it as "bright, clean, and sturdy," all of those adjectives have positive connotations with them. However, if that same toothbrush was described as "wet, inflexible, and covered in toothpaste residue," the emotions surrounding that very same toothbrush have now shifted to something more negative.

Think of the college or career program you are most interested in
aliina [53]

Answer:

The school I would like to attend is Fresno State University. The program I was planning to study was Agricultural Sciences. My reason for attending Fresno State is because I want to prove myself that I can achieve success, even without having to go to the UCs or the Ivy League. If I'm admitted into the university, I can contribute future benefits by applying my knowledge into creating futuristic agricultural methods and procedures.
