HELP HELP HELP A quadratic function models the graph of a parabola. The quadratic functions, y = x2 and y = x2 + 3, are modeled

in the graphs of the parabolas shown below.
Determine which situations best represent the scenario shown in the graph of the quadratic functions, y = x2 and y = x2 + 3. Select all that apply.

From x = -2 to x = 0, the average rate of change for both functions is negative
For the quadratic function, y = x2, the coordinate (2, 3) is a solution to the equation of the function.
The quadratic function, y = x2 + 3, has an x-intercept at the origin
The quadratic function, y = x2, has an x-intercept at the origin
From x = -2 to x = 0, the average rate of change for both functions is positive
For the quadratic function, y = x2 + 3, the coordinate (2, 7) is a solution to the equation of the function.

17^2 because the equation for it is a^2+b^2=c^2 so the longest side (x) is the c so 10 i put as a and 7 i put as b. it will always be squared for pythagorean theorem so the equation will look like 10^2+7^2=17^2 and if it isn’t squared all you have to do is undo the squaring

Suppose you bought a pizza for $8 you also bought a salad but you cannot remember how much you paid and you cannot find the rece
ivanzaharov [21]
The correct option is A.
The cost of the pizza is $8 and the total amount spent is $10. To find the cost of the salad, all you have to do is to subtract the cost of the pizza from the total amount spent, the remain amount will be the cost of the salad. That is,
Let S stands for salad,
8 + S = 10
S = 10 - 8 = 2
Thus, S = 2.
This means that, the salad costs $2.00<span />

.Write the equation of the line with m = 3 going through the point (–2, –5). Put your answer in Slope–Intercept Form.
OverLord2011 [107]

Answer:

y = 3x +1

Step-by-step explanation:

Given

m = 3

(x_1,y_1) =  (-2,-5)

Required

The equation

This is calculated as:

y = m(x - x_1)  + y_1

So, we have:

y = 3(x - -2)  -5

y = 3(x +2)  -5

Open bracket

y = 3x +6  -5

y = 3x +1
