It's a rational number.

An integer is a whole number. For example, 4, 5, 6, 7 would be whole numbers.

And numbers like 45/9, 6/12, and 3/11 would be rational!

I hope this helps :)

Hello there! And thank you for asking your question here on brainly . com, your number one asking and answering site.

Answer: Integer

Why?

You can find this out by doing simple division. Divide 45 by 9. (45 / 9 = 5) Since 5 is a simple number, and is not in fraction nor decimal, it is an integer.

Hope this helped you, and have a great day! ♥

After putting $5,500 as a down payment on a car, you pay $400 per month for 60 months to pay off your car. What was the total yo
Y_Kistochka [10]

Answer:

$29500

Step-by-step explanation:

Given data

The number of months is 60

the downpayment is $5,500

the monthly payment is $400

Let the function for the total payment be given as

y=mx+c

y= 400(60)+5500

y=24000+5500

y= 29500

Hence the total paid for the car is $29500

liraira [26]

Answer:

The answer is

2 {x}^{2}  + 3x - 1 = 0

Why? Below I explain

Step-by-step explanation:

That formula has three variables a, b and c.

So, a = 2, b = 3 and c = -1

Because the formula is written like

\frac{ - b +  -  \sqrt{ {b}^{2}  - 4 \times a \times c} }{2 \times a}

The air pressure inside Jason’s bike tires decreases by about 6% each week. The original pressure was 45 pounds per square inch
Brrunno [24]
Compound percentage reduction can be calculated by multiplying the initial number by (1-x)^t where x is the percentage reduction (/100, i.e. 1% reduction is 0.01), and t is the number of times it has reduced.

So:
a) p=45(1-0.06)^t=45*0.94^t
Where t is the number of weeks.

We can then just substitute in to work out the final pressure:
b) p = 45*0.94^6 = 31psi

Simplify the expression.<br><br><br> Write your answer without negative exponents.
Phoenix [80]

Answer:

-5/ (x^19 * y^12)

Step-by-step explanation:

-15x^-10 * y ^ -3 * x^-9 * y^-9/3 (It's writing it like this.)

15 and 3 have a GCF of 3.

-5x^-10 * y^-3 * x^-9 * y^-9/1

Reduce similar occurrences. *twice in a row*

-5x^(-10 + (-9)) * y^(-3 + (-9))/1

Remove extra signs *twice in a row*

-5x^(-10 - 9) * y^(-3 - 9)/1

Remove extraneous 1.

-5x^(-10 - 9) * y^(-3 - 9)

Add integers.

-5x^-19 * y^-12

Negative powers change multiplication to division.

-5 / (x^19 * y^12) is the final answer.

Even with that, the simplified answer wouldn't have negative exponents because of the negative powers rule.
