How do you solve 5=3x+2y? please help me,this is for a project that's due tomorrow!!
Molodets [167]
I'm not sure if this is what you're looking for, but maybe it will help:
Isolate y for 5=3x+2y

Switch sides:
3x+2y=5

Subtract 3x from both sides:
3x+2y-3x=5-3x

Simplify:
2y=5-3x

Divide both sides by 2:
2y/2 = 5-3x/2

Simplify:
y= 5x-3/2

I hope this helped you! :)
