faust18 [17]

Explanation:

The complete question is;

Who said the following words

What's more to do, Which would be planted newly with the time,— As calling home our exile friends abroad, That fled the snares of watchful tyranny; Producing forth the cruel ministers Of this dead butcher, and his fiend-like queen,— Who, as 'tis thought, by self and violent hands Took off her life;

Answer

These lines are taken from Macbeth, a play written by famous Shakespeare.

These words had been said by Malcolm at the end of the play.

He meant that since  Macbeth had dead, so now there was a new regime for Scotland. The king of that regime was Malcolm and he would call back his friends to Scotland. He also scolded Lady Macbeth for her work and that she had taken her own life

Paraphin [41]

From the passage: "How the Golden Carp Learned to Fly" , the TWO ways in which the author creates suspense in the passage are:

  • <u>C. by describing the dangers the carp faced while traveling up the river</u>
  • <u>E. by demonstrating the golden carp's attempts to get to the top of the waterfall</u>

<u />

According to the passage, <em>"How the Golden Carp Learned to Fly"</em>, the narrator talks about a school of fish who were hunted by fishermen and their leader, a golden carp wisely guided them.

Along their journey, some fishes decided to stay back in a part of the river that they thought was safe, against the advice of the golden carp, and they ended up being caught by fishermen and eaten.

Eventually, the number of fishes that went with the golden carp made their way to a safe place.

The author makes use of suspense to:

  • Describe the dangers the school of fish faced during their journey
  • Demonstrate the attempts of the golden carp to get to the top of the waterfall.

1) How does Romeo’s reaction concerning banishment reveal his character? How is it different from Juliet’s reaction to the probl
liubo4ka [24]
Romeo's reaction shows how impulsive, emotional, and immature he truly is. He cries to the Friar and asks to be put to death instead. When he says "ha, banishment? Be merciful, say "death"" he is saying he would rather die than have to live in a place without Juliet. Juliet responds differently though, which shows that she is a bit more mature and thoughtful than Romeo. Even though initially she gets upset, she then thinks about it and says "Oh, what a beast was I to chide at him" showing that she knows he made a mistake but he is still her husband and she still loves him.
