Two points (2) - ten points (10)

Basically, the problem looks like: 2 - 10.
Since the 2 is in front and not the 10, the answer is going to be a negative. 
Add 2 - 10 as if the 10 was in the front to get 8. Then, put a negative sign in front of it to make it the correct answer.

Answer: -8
