Free writing simply refers to a prewriting technique whereby an individual continually writes continuously for a certain period without the person minding the grammar or spellings used but rather the individual is writing down the ideas as they come naturally.
Free writing is important as it helps the person builds his or her confidence and it also teaches individuals unplanned speaking.
