They are similar because triangle A has the measurements of 88 and 36 making the third angle 56 because 88+36-180=[56], triangle B will have the same angle measurements because it has the angles 56 and 88 making the last angle 36

Find the volume of a cylinder with height 14.7 cm and diameter 10.5 cm.
velikii [3]

Hello!

The volume of a cylinder is found by using the formula: V = πr²h.

The problem has given us the height of the cylinder, which is 14.7 centimeters, and the diameter which is 10.5 centimeters. The volume of a cylinder requires the radius, so therefore, to find the radius, divide the diameter by half, and that will give the radius.

R = 10.5 / 2

R = 5.25 centimeters

With that radius and the height, we can find the volume of the cylinder.

V = π(5.25)²(14.7)

V = 27.5625(14.7)π

V = 405.17π, 1272.23 (multiplied by 3.14), 1272.88 (multiplied by π)

Therefore, the volume of this cylinder is 1272.88 centimeters³.

Firlakuza [10]

Answer:

Technically, it depends on which school you attend, which state, city, or area you live in, and if you have an honor-based program or just the basic class. Although, in the basic level of 8th grade, you will learn measurements, a bit of geometry, algebra, and probability.

Hope this helps and good luck!

Nola hiked down a trail at a steady rate for 10 minutes. Her change in elevation was −160 feet. Then she continued to hike down
RoseWind [281]
Ok so first, you need to figure out the change in elevation for each after one min. so we will write it as a ratio

10:-160        20:-300
So for the 10 min one, we will divide both sides by 10
1:-16      So the change in elevation per min. is -16
Now for the 20 one, we will divide by 20.
1: -15   So the change in elevation per  min. is 15

So, the 10 min section of the walk the change of elevation was greater.      Hope that helps! if you need me to explain something just ask!
