T or D: Studies show that low-fat chocolate milk is a good recovery snack because it has about a 4 to 1 ratio of carbohydrates t
umka21 [38]

Answer:

true

Explanation:

low-fat chocolate milk is a great option because after you exercise, your body starts replenishing its glycogen stores.  post-workout snacks are supposed to help with restoring glycogen and build back muscle. That means you need two basic components: carbohydrates and protein. This is why chocolate milk gained a reputation as a cheap alternative to expensive protein drinks for athletes, especially weightlifters. It has plenty of carbs, both in the milk (lactose is a sugar) and in the chocolate syrup or mix you add in, plus it has protein from the dairy.

How do emotions positively and negatively influence critical thinking? Describe how you balance your emotion and reason when mak
natka813 [3]

1. Emotions, whether positive or negative, influence critical thinking because they prevent the individual from using rationality to think. Thus, we can say that in relation to the act of thinking critically, the use of emotions influences in an evil way.

2. To balance emotion and reason, I like to evaluate the possible results of my choice first. In that case, I see what the results of a particular decision would be if I acted rationally and what the results would be if I acted emotionally. I also assess how these results would affect me and those close to me. An example of when I had to use reason and emotion for a decision was when I had to choose whether to live with my mom or dad. In this case, emotion was a very strong factor, but I had to think rationally about all the consequences.

3. Language is very important in critical thinking as it shows how your reasoning works and expresses what you have evaluated according to that situation. In other words, language is important to externalize your reasoning to attract other reasonings that complement yours. An example of when language helped my critical thinking was when I talked to my parents about the reasons I was evaluating to decide who I was going to live with. In this way, my parents understood my position and gave me some suggestions that complemented my reasoning.

P.S. You didn't talk about the concepts covered in the week, but I suggest you read a summary of them and write about the ones you identified with and understood the most. You can also explain what caused you to not identify with other concepts, and why you were confused about them.
