Why do you think tony Morrison included Emmet till's murder in her novel
Marina86 [1]
Toni Morrison included Emmett Till in her novel to explore the high rate of deaths of black youths. She also believes there was a great injustice at what was done to Emmett who was lynched and killed by two white men who were acquitted of the crime. It sparked national outrage that such violent act can done to young boy. His sparked the anger of the Civil Rights Movement and forced the government to re-evaluate its investigation of hate crimes on African Americans.

Which corrects any error in the use of apostrophes in the sentence?
andrew11 [14]
I'm not sure but I would go with C. if I were you because s' is possession of a group of people for example All the moms' children in the school were punished moms' is possession of more than one mom but mom's is possession of one mom so if you say childrens' instead of children's that would be wrong because children is a plural by itself so you can't turn a plural into a plural possession all you have to do is just put 's after a plural word to give it possession.
