In Ancient Greece why would Sparta be a better city-state to live in than Athens
lisov135 [29]

Answer:

Sparta would be better for a few different reasons. First, Sparta had way more protection. For example, in Sparta their army was fierce and protective and they weren’t afraid to fight. Second, in Athens women have basically no freedom and there was much more freedom in Sparta to women. Also, in Sparta girls are actually able to go to school they’re not just taught by their mothers at home. There are some good things about Athens but if you wanted freedom and protection, Sparta definitely would have been better.
