Width of the reactangle = 38 cm

Minimum perimeter = 692 cm

Let the length of the rectangle be x cm

We know that,

Perimeter of rectangle = 2 * (length + width)

Since the perimeter should be atleast 692 cm. Therefore,

2 * (x + 38) > 692

2x + 76 > 692

2x > 692 - 76

2x > 616

x > \frac{616}{2}

x > 308

Hence, the length of the rectangle should be more that 308 cms.

Pls help :)) this question is confusing for me :)
Temka [501]

Given:

y^{2}(2 y-5)-8 y+20

To find:

The product of the expression.

Solution:

y^{2}(2 y-5)-8 y+20=y^{2}(2 y-5)+(-8 y+20)

Take out -4 as a common factor in Last two terms.

                                =y^{2}(2 y-5)-4(2 y-5)

Make sure the terms in both brackets must be same.

Take out common factor (2y - 5) from both terms.

                                =(2 y-5)(y^{2}-4)

4 can be written as 2².

                                =(2 y-5)\left(y^{2}-2^2\right)

Using the identity: (a^2-b^2)=(a-b)(a+b)

                                =(2 y-5)(y-2)(y+2).

The product is (2 y-5)(y-2)(y+2).

Factor this expression completely. Write the factored expression in the space provided.
Luba_88 [7]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

So let's factor!

Let's see whats this about...

3x^{3} +15x^{2} +18x\\3x(x^{2} +5x+6)\\3x(x-1)(x+6)

So, there you go!

sorry if this did not make sense...

What I did was essentially factor out 3x first, and then factor the second product by grouping.

Hope this Helps!

P.S. Stay Safe!

Party Supplies Inc. Sells metallic ballons for $2 each and Helium ballons for 3:50 per bunch. Yesterday the sold 36 more metalli
zzz [600]

Answer:

Metallic Balloons = 74

Bunches of Helium Balloons = 38

Step-by-step explanation:

The question basically asks for the number of "metallic balloons" sold and the number of bunches of "helium balloons" sold.

We will do it in our way. Let B be number o metallic balloons and H be number of bunches of Helium balloons.

Since Metallics cost 2 each and Heliums cost 3.5 per bunch and totaled sales is 281, we can write and equation as:

2B + 3.5H = 281

and, since they sold 36 MORE metallic than helium ,we can write an equation as:

B - 36 = H

We can put 2nd equation in 1st one and solve for B first:

2B + 3.5H = 281\\2B + 3.5(B-36) = 281\\2B+3.5B-126=281\\5.5B=407\\B = \frac{407}{5.5}\\B=74

B = 74

Now, we find H:

H = B - 36

H = 74 - 36 = 38

H = 38
