(A) Surface area can be solved by simply finding the area of each side and adding it together. Here, we will solve for the front, side, and top, and then multiply it by 2 to account for the back, other side, and bottom.
Top/Bottom:
12*8=96
96*2=192
Sides:
12*6=72
72*2=144
Front/Back:
8*6=48
48*2=96

Now we should add the areas if each side together.

192+144+96=432.

Therefore, the surface area of this figure is 432 square millimeters.

(B) To solve for this, we can just multiply the surface area by 3 since each millimeter is $3. I will assume that it means per millimeter as the conversion from millimeters to feet is very odd.

432*3=1296

Therefore, it would cost $1296 to tile the prism.

(C) Volume is simple as the formula is just l*w*h.

8*12*6=576

Therefore, the volume of the prism is 576 cubed millimeters.

Bags of sugar come in 3 sizes.
kirill115 [55]

Answer:

cost per gram of small bag ≅ 4.119 p

cost per gram of medium bag ≅ 3.686 p

cost per gram of large bag ≅ 3.517 p

Step-by-step explanation:

cost per gram of small bag = 325 / 79

                                             = 4.119

cost per gram of medium bag = 575 / 156

                                                  = 3.686

cost per gram of large bag = 1150 / 327

                                             = 3.517

Solve the following
Yuki888 [10]

Answer:

1) 199

2) 899

Step-by-step explanation:

1)

The 2-digit number is the number formed from unit-digit and ten-digit

∵ The greatest digit is 9

→ To form the greatest 2-digit number use 9 as ten-digit and unit-digit

∴ The greatest 2-digit number is 99

The 3-digit number is the number formed from unit-digit, ten-digit, and hundred-digit

∵ The smallest digit is 0

→ To form the smallest 3-digit number use 0 as ten-digit and unit-digit,

we can not use 0 for the hundred-digit so use 1 as hundred-digit

∴ The smallest 3-digit number is 100

∵ The sum of them = 99 + 100

∴ Their sum is 199

2)

→ To form the greatest 3-digit number use 9 as hundred-digit, ten-digit,

   and unit-digit

∴ The greatest 3-digit number is 999

∵ The smallest 3-digit number is 100

∵ The difference between them = 999 - 100

∴ The difference between them = 899

What is the GCF that can be factored out of each monomial term in 6x2-18x+15?
forsale [732]
Hello!

To solve this you have to find what the biggest number that each number can be divided by

You can do this by listing the multiples of the smallest number

The multiples of 6 are

1, 2, 3, 6

Now you look and see what the biggest number 18 and 15 can be divided by evenly

15 can't be divided by 6 so it is not 6

All three numbers can be divided by 3 so this is the answer

The answer is 3

Hope this helps!
