The information revolution has been responsible for the rapidly decreasing costs of production for materials involving the processing and transmitting information from one device to the other. It has been one of the marvels of recent technological advancements that made information access a lot easier.
The role of women during the colonial period was very restricted. The dominant idea was that they were inferior to men and had to obey their authority. Nothing much, besides the religious life and the household duties, were left to women. As expected, colonial girls followed their mothers duties. They learned responsibilities as housekeeping, food preservation, knitting and often help their mothers create household goods like clothing, candles, and soap that could be traded, letter B.
It enabled important (and sometimes secret) information/news to travel quickly.
