Friction is tension between to objects or people that are moving in opposing directions or with opposing ideas. Friction decreases motion overtime and it also creates thermal energy from kinetic energy. In both relationships and objects, the friction wears down both sides depending on the roughness, strengths, and characteristic of each side.
