It is difficult for people to live in or around North Africa because of the weather. North Africa tends to be extremely hot. Most people have settled near or along the Sahara Desert because of the resources that it offers. North Africa has a small population because of this.

North Africa, as a region, is one of the most inhospitable places on Earth for living. The main reason for this is that the region is almost entirely dominated by desert and semi-desert. The number of rivers and streams is very small, with some countries have none, some one, some not more than fingers on one hand. The soil is not good for agriculture apart from the very few places along the water bodies, the temperatures extremely high, and sand storms always being a danger. This has resulted in the population of this region to be very concentrated in very small areas. Almost all of the population lives along the Nile River, or along the coastline, as those are the two places that have by far the best living conditions.

Do you believe that traditional American interpretations of femininity and masculinity have benefited American culture?
trasher [3.6K]

Answer:

No

Explanation:

No, I believe it has hurt American culture in many ways. The traditional interpretation of femininity and masculinity has affected American Culture by creating a stigma among society. It has created an imaginary line with rules about things that you should do and what you shouldn’t do. It created this role play that everyone has their job within the society and that if you wanted to aspire for more then you couldn’t because you were criticized. If someone wanted to be different or wanted to do something of the other sex, then it was looked down upon, and in most of the cases people bullied you until you feel bad even when you think about it. In conclusion, these traditions have created a huge division between men and women; where being different is penalize.

Ymorist [56]
♦Long version: Generally, man wants to engage in feasible business or investment that will bring profits or benefits. Because of this, before engaging in the business or purchasing of a product, he usually weights the costs and the benefits that will be derived. If the benefits are higher than the costs, he will usually be ready to engage in the business or buy the product, but if the reverse is the case, he will see no reason for engaging in such a business.
♦Short version: Because we are human beings and we instinctively will do what is most beneficial to us. This includes low costs and high benefits. Whatever benefits is us worth the time
