One number is seven less than two times another. If their sum is decreased by four, the result is one. Find the numbers.
allsm [11]

Answer:

(2n + k) - 7

Step-by-step explanation:

1. Let ''a number'' be presented as n

2. ''twice a number'' → 2 n

3. ''twice a number and k'' → 2n + k

4. 7 less than twice a number → (2h + k) - 7

A. Use the Pythagorean theorem to calculate the length of segment AC. Show your work for credit.
Solnce55 [7]

alright so first ur trying to find adjacent so use cos which is adjacent/hypotenuse you know the angle of c is 90 because it is a right angle

so it gonna be

cos(90)= AC/5

5*cos(90)= AC

5*0=AC

side AC = 0

. (02.05 MC) Side AB = 5, side BC = 6, side DE = 5, and side EF = 6. What additional information would you need to prove that ΔA
vaieri [72.5K]

Answer:

Side AC is congruent to side DF

Step-by-step explanation:

We are given that

Side AB=5 cm

BC=6 cm

Side DE=5 cm

Side EF= 6cm

We have to find an additional information would  need to prove that \triangle ABC\cong \triangle DEF by SSS.

When two triangles are congruent by SSS it means three sides of one triangle are congruent to corresponding sides of other triangle.

We have in triangle ABC and triangle DEF

AB\cong DE=5 cm

BC\cong EF=6 cm

AC\cong DF

Then ,\triangle ABC\cong \triangleDEF

Reason: SSS postulates

Answer: Side AC is congruent to side DF

Hello please help me I don't get this at all
Stella [2.4K]
There are 1 rectangle and 2 triangles.
The area of the rectangle is 5 x 7 =35
The are of the triangle is 7 x 2 = 14(1/2) = 7
There are 2 triangles, so 7 x 2 = 14

14 + 35 = 49

49 is your answer

hope this helps
