Answer:$8.50

Step-by-step explanation: If 4 apples are $1.00 that means that one apple would be 25¢. 10 apples would mean $8.00 and since 2 apples are left that would be 50¢. Hence, the answer would be $8.50

It might be 2 dollars and 50 cents because since every apple is 25 cents and if you buy 8 apples it would be 2 dollars and another 2 apples will be 50 cents but I’m not sure

A population of monkeys' tail lengths is normally distributed with a mean of 25 cm with a standard deviation of 8 cm. I am prepa
Crank

Answer:

<em>The probability that the mean of my sample will be between 24 and 25 cm</em>

<em>P(24 ≤X⁻≤25) = 0.4772</em>

Step-by-step explanation:

<u><em>Step(i)</em></u>:-

<em>Given mean of the Population  'μ'= 25c.m</em>

<em>Given standard deviation of the Population 'σ' = 8c.m</em>

<em>Given sample size 'n' = 256</em>

<em>Let X₁ = 24</em>

<em></em>Z_{1} = \frac{x_{1}-mean }{\frac{S.D}{\sqrt{n} } } = \frac{24-25}{\frac{8}{\sqrt{256} } } = -2<em></em>

<em>Let X₂ = 25</em>

<em></em>Z_{2} = \frac{x_{2}-mean }{\frac{S.D}{\sqrt{n} } } = \frac{25-25}{\frac{8}{\sqrt{256} } } = 0<em></em>

<u><em>Step(ii)</em></u><em>:-</em>

<em>The probability that the mean of my sample will be between 24 and 25 cm</em>

<em>P(24 ≤X⁻≤25) = P(-2≤ Z ≤0)</em>

                     = P( Z≤0) - P(Z≤-2)

                     = 0.5 + A(0) - (0.5- A(-2))

                     = A(0) + A(2)        ( ∵A(-2) =A(2)

                     = 0.000+ 0.4772

                     = 0.4772

<u><em>Final answer</em></u>:-

<em>The probability that the mean of my sample will be between 24 and 25 cm</em>

<em>P(24 ≤X⁻≤25) = 0.4772</em>

X + 4y = 23<br> -3x = 12y + 1<br> is it no solution?
bagirrra123 [75]

Answer: Yes

Step-by-step explanation:

First multiply the first equation by three to get 3x+12y=69

Then subtract 12y from both sides of the second equation

Then add the first system and the second like this:

3x+12y=69\\-3x-12y=1\\--------\\0+0=70\\0=70

Because 0≠70, the system has no solutions

Need help ASAP, I am stuck on this question and need an answer
olga nikolaevna [1]

For an increase of 15% you would add the increase percentage to 1 and multiply that by number of years.

So the multiplication rate would be 1.15

The answers are cut off in the picture, but the one with 1.15 is the top left answer.
