So... This may be offtopic but I wanted to get my mom a rose for Mothers day. I always get her a bunch of roses for mothers day.

but you know... they don't last. She has been through a lot and 2019 wasn't her year either and the start of 2020 wasn't starting off great. I am making something personal too for being so strong. She always seems so happy despite everything and never should a bit of sorrow, which makes me sad. :( I wanted to get her a glass rose, galaxy rose, or a real gold rose.
does anyone know any trusted website I can order from? (: or which rose would be the best to get? thanks. I came to brainly cuz I couldn't find any videos or reviews on other platforms. please don't delete my question lol.

You should look up florists in Maps and also see when your state will open up! many places are not taking order at the moment so you should probably look for nearby florist!

I find what you're doing to be very kind :)

Read the following passage from Senator Smith's "Declaration of Conscience":
gizmo_the_mogwai [7]

Answer: D. Women's perspectives would be a way for Congress members to reflect on their actions in order to change them.

Explanation:

The effect of Smith's mentioning of women play in supporting her purpose is that "women's perspectives would be a way for Congress members to reflect on their actions in order to change them".

This can be deduced from the excerpt when he said that he wondered how the females feel about the way in which members of their families have been politically mangled in the Senate debate.

Therefore, their perspectives could be a way for the Senate to have a rethink and then change.

Read this excerpt from "The tell-tale heart" by Edgar Allan Poe. Then fill the blanks in the paragraphs that follows.
Lorico [155]

Answer:

A character vs self

The exposition

Explanation:

The options you were given are the following:

 • A character vs self
 • A character vs nature
 • A character vs society

 • The exposition
 • The climax
 • The falling action
 • The resolution

The Tell-Tale Heart is a short story written by Edgar Allan Poe. It's told from the perspective of an unnamed narrator who is trying to convince the readers of his sanity while describing a murder he committed. He murdered an old man with a pale blue vulture-eye. After the murder, he begins hearing a thumping sound, which he interprets as the dead man's beating heart. The sound terrifies him and leads him to confess what he has done to officers.

The given passage is the beginning of the story, which means that it's the exposition. It introduces the characters and the conflict. In literature, there are two basic types of conflict:

 • Internal conflict - a character struggles with their own opposing desires or beliefs.
 • External conflict - a character struggles with an outside force, such as another character, nature, or society.

Here, we have an example of an inner (character vs self) conflict. The narrator tells us that the old man never wronged him and that he even loved him. However, he feels the need to murder him, as he explains it, because of his pale blue eye of a vulture, and decides to do that.
