11) Find:
(i) 36% of 400
(ii) 16% of 32
maxonik [38]

Hey there!

Question #1.

36% of 400

= 36% * 400

= 36/100 * 400/1

= 36 ÷ 2 / 100 ÷ 2 * 400/1

= 18/50 * 400/1

= 18 ÷ 2 / 50 ÷ 2 * 400/1

= 9 / 25 * 400/1

= 9(400) / 25(1)

= 3,600 / 25

= 3,600 ÷ 25

= 144

Therefore, the answer should be: 144

Question #2.
16% of 32

= 16% * 32

= 16/100 * 32/1

= 16 ÷ 2 / 100 ÷ 2 * 32/1

= 8 / 50 * 32/1

= 8 ÷ 2 / 50 ÷ 2 * 32/1

= 4 / 25 * 32/1

= 4(32) / 25(1)

= 128 / 25

≈ 5.12

≈ 5 3/25

Therefore, the answer should be:

• 128/25

• 5.12
• 5 3/25

(Either of those should work because they are equivalent or equal to each other!)

Good luck on your assignment & enjoy your day!
