Answer:Oh, be very careful about the "$87."

Let the dryer cost x.

Then, the washer costs (x+87)

Together, they cost  (x) + (x+87) = 787

        2x+87 = 787

           2x = 700           [subtract 97 from both sides]

            x = 350             [divide both sides by 2]

The dryer cost $350.

Cost of the dryer = $325

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:

Washer and dryer cost = $595

Washer costs $55 less than dryer

Find:

Cost of the dryer

Computation:

Assume;

Cost of the dryer = x

Cost of the washer = x - 55

Washer and dryer cost = Cost of the dryer + Cost of the washer

595 = x + x - 55

2x = 650

x = 325

Cost of the dryer = $325

In a group of 100 people, 2/5 prefer chicken soup, 4/10 prefer to eat hornado, and the rest prefer frying. What part of the group prefers frying ? How many people prefer each type of food ? (thank u google translate)...I guess

2/5 of 100 prefer chicken soup.....so thats 2/5 * 100 = 200/5 = 40 prefer chicken soup.

4/10 out of 100 prefer hornado (I dont even know what that is)...
4/10 * 100 = 400/10 = 40 prefer hornado.

and the rest prefer frying....100 - (40 + 40) = 100 - 80 = 20 (or 1/5) prefer frying

How to find the value of each power
Inessa [10]
Exponent of a number says how many times.

2³

The 2 is the base number, while the little 3 is the exponent.

2³ = 2 x 2 x 2 = 8

Basically, you would just have to do two, three times.

Answer:

you can see when you put x = -3 you get 0 for g(x)

so we can write g(x) = 3+x because if we put x to be -3 in this equation you get 0.

a. h(0) = f(0)g(0), g(0) = 3+0= 3

h(0) = f(0)x3, now In the graph f(x) we can see at x=0, y is -1.

now h(0) = -1x3 = -3 (answer)

b. (-infinity, +infinity) or (-2, inf) I'm not sure.

c. values that yeild h(x)=0 are; -3, 3, -1.
