Question:

DL: Activity 2.3 Resistance

Complete the questions based on the Resistance presentation.

a. All resistors ___________ or _____________ the flow of electrons.

b. As resistance __________________ current _______________________

Answer:

a) limits or opposes

b) increases, decreases

Explanation:

Resistors are electrical devices used to resist, limit, oppose or hinder the flow of electrons in a circuit. This resistance causes a reduction in current and an increase in voltage in the circuit. In order words, as resistance increases, the current decreases and voltage increases.

This was further stated by Ohm's law that states that as long as the resistance in a wire/conductor remains constant, the voltage across it is directly proportional to the current flowing through a conductor. i.e

V = IR

Where;

R = constant called resistance

I = current flowing through the wire

V = voltage across the wire

Cloud condensation nuclei are generally made of __________. A. oxygen atoms B. carbon dioxide C. water molecules D. small “dust”
son4ous [18]

D. small “dust” particles

Explanation:

Cloud condensatin nuclei are generally made up of small dust particles. These particles are found within the troposphere and tiny water droplets accumulates around them to form precipitation.

 • Tiny dusts and particulates matter from the earth surface are usually carried into the part of the troposphere where rainfall forms.
 • They form a nucleation center where water molecules aggregates into bigger crystals.
 • These are the condensation nuclei that are centers for cooling water vapor molecules derived from the surface.
 • They are formed by dusts, exhausts, wind blown dusts, e.t.c

The action force is the balloon pushing the air out. What is the magnitude of the reaction force of the air pushing on the ballo
telo118 [61]

Answer:

reaction force is 3N

Explanation:

The question is not complete.

From estudyassistant, I've gathered that the action force pushing the air out of the balloon is -3N.

Now,from Newton's third law of motion, it says, for every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction.

Thus, the reaction force will be equal and opposite in direction to the action force.

Thus, reaction force is 3N
