PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE! HELP ME!! I NEED HELP ON NUMBER 2!!! ASAAP!
castortr0y [4]

Answer: The answer should be these two parts. "...I had to arm wrestle with him for it." and "Then I tied all his arms and legs in knots."

Explanation: These are hyperboles because they are exaggerative. Most likely the person did not arm wrestle with an octopus. Although that would be funny to watch, life is not a Disney movie. Then again if anything he fought the octopus to get away but did not literally tie his arms and legs in knots. The character is exaggerating in order to make himself seem even braver and more courageous than he actually is.

What is one of the principal functions of a peer review? to explore strategies for displaying your essay to create illustrations
Alika [10]

To look for common writing problems.

When writing essays or papers, it's completely natural for us to make mistakes. That is why we proof-read out work to correct those mistakes, but even then, we may miss some things. That is why a peer review is necessary. A different set of eyes will almost definitely find the mistakes that we've missed, and will point them out to us.

Furthermore, just as a writing suggestion; if you're writing a long paper, take a break, stand up, walk around, but LEAVE the computer. When you go back and read your work, you'll see some mistakes you didn't before. Happens to me every time!
