Which statement best describes the author’s viewpoint toward Bob Heft in “A Flag with 50 Stars”? Bob should not have contacted a

member of Congress about a trivial matter. Bob was not a very good student at Lancaster High School. Bob should not have spent so much time on his project. Bob's grade did not reflect the outcome of the story.

Finish the story
allsm [11]

Answer:

I hope this helps, and you can make any changes to the storyline that you want. Thanks, and I hope this helps! Tell me what you think! BRAINLIEST PLEASE!

Explanation:

In the distance, I saw a shimmering light. The light was glistening off something metallic in the distance. From what I could see from my makeshift shelter, something must be coming to shore. I have been trapped on this desolate island for weeks, and I have long lost hope in someone finding me. Maybe today was the day, I might be saved. Maybe that light I saw was a ship coming toward my island, it might be the sun glistening off the hull of a steamship.

I jumped up, the hope bubbling once more in my veins, the happiness rising within me. I was going to go home, home to America, where I would have a warm bed, no more eating bugs and animals that I could trap. I could sit down to an actual meal, like Mcdonald's, or go get a coffee in the mornings at the local cafe. I could be almost human again, I could go back to having first-world problems instead of living like a savage dog in the wilderness.

I looked around my desolate shelter, seeing what I should pack. There wasn't anything I wanted to bring with me. I wanted to leave this desolate place behind, and everything that would remind me of it. I wanted to forget this experience had ever happened, even though I knew in the back of my mind that I would never be able to forget the horrors of being stranded on this island.

I only grabbed what I was able to salvage from my shipwreck, a compass, my wrist-watch, which didn't even work anymore, and the jacket I had been wearing when I was stranded. Of course, now it was also ruined, thread-bare and tattered, but it was one of the only things that had survived the wreck, and so I had to bring it with me.

As I made my way down the beach, I saw the ship coming towards shore. They must have seen the shelter I made in the trees. I had kept a fire burning for the many weeks I was here. Even though I had lost hope, in the back of my mind I wanted to at least try to get someone to see me. I looked back towards the trees and looked along the shoreline. The palms swayed gently, and the sand was white and beautiful. If I wouldn't have been stranded and fighting for my life, I would have thought this island was beautiful, and a place I would love to visit.

"Hello down there!" A man called from the ship, and he waved down to me. "Let down a rope for the young man!"

A rope was thrown down, and they hauled me up to the ship. They looked at me in wonder, and I knew why. I was dressed in skins I had collected and sewn together with my bare hands, and my beard was long and shaggy. I was, of course, dirty, I hadn't wanted to have soap or anything to clean with really, and I must have been disgusting smelling, but the joy of being found was too overwhelming to be embarrassed by it. I was going home.

NNADVOKAT [17]

The correct order of each word in the blank spaces would be: option C.

"There is more than one way to see if they're in their proper spaces."

<em>'There'</em> is an adverb of place or position, '<em>they're'</em> is a contraction of they are (which refers to two or more people), and '<em>their'</em> is the possesive case of the pronoun they.
